Find a Professional
Members of the public have access to the Registers kept by the SACSSP for social service professionals in terms of section 19 of the Social Service Professions Act 110 of 1978 and the applicable Regulations. The Registers can be searched to find a social worker, social auxiliary worker, child and youth care worker in the professional category of registration and child and youth care worker in the auxiliary category of registration as well as students registered with the SACSSP.

The main purpose for this is to allow the public to confirm whether a social service professional is registered with the SACSSP and/or in good standing with the SACSSP (also see Overview).
